Remote Setup

For those of you who will be joining the classes remotely, here are some basic bits of information to help make things run smoothly on day one.

Strongly Recommended: Use a Second Monitor

Having two screens will make a huge difference: you can keep the Webex meeting open on one screen while coding on the other. This setup will make it much easier to follow along in class, avoid mistakes, and keep your focus.

Here are a couple of inexpensive options:

Webex Test Run

We'll be using Webex (similar to Zoom) for remote classes. Before the first day of class, I'll get in touch with each one of you to schedule a quick test run to make sure the software is installed and working properly.

When it's time to join class, click the link below to get started. Please make sure you have Google Chrome installed beforehand (recommended for the best experience).

Once you're connected, I'll guide you over the phone the rest of the way.
